The
Scissormen and The Sawtelles (based in CT) take over the Naugatuck Railroad for an
evening of classic blues bent over a furious rock n’ roll
guitar sound!
Fronted by guitarist Ted Drozdowski, teamed
up with Rob Hulsman on drums, the Boston-based band is
touring behind their recently released CD “Jinx Breakers.” Acclaimed
by fans and critics alike, The
Scissormen have broken the
unspoken rule that says good blues music can’t come
from a Yankee.
Ted Drozdowski has created an energetic
mix of pure rock energy that goes right to the roots
of American blues music. A talented solo guitarist, Ted Drozdowski
channels the spirit of blues pioneers such as Robert
Johnson and Jimmy Page, while crafting a powerful, hypnotic
sound all his own.
The
Scissormen will unleash their unique sound for one
night only aboard the Naugatuck Railroad’s “Blues
Train” while you enjoy a ride in restored 1920s vintage
coaches and sample a great selection of complementary wines
and light refreshments. Combining the irresistible combination
of trains and the blues, board this special excursion at
Thomaston Station for an unforgettable two-hour excursion.
The Naugatuck’s scenic sunset train ride through Connecticut’s
Litchfield Hills is the perfect venue for this energetic
band.
Climb aboard the Blues Train for an evening you won’t
soon forget—presented by the Railroad Museum of New
England.

Fare is $50 per person, and includes
