Autumn Colors Limited

Ride the rails this fall and enjoy some of the best fall foliage the Litchfield Hills has to offer aboard the Naugatuck Railroad's Autumn Colors Limited!

Passengers on these excursions will enjoy a leisurely 2 hours train ride along the southern portion of our line. Here, the rail line closely follows the river, crossing it in several places allowing for breathtaking views of the river and autumn scenery. A brief venture is made north of the Thomaston Station over the famous Thomaston Dam, providing a vista like view over the Naugatuck River Valley. The train also makes a stop at Fascia’s Chocolates Factory for 20 minutes so passengers can view the factory and shop at the chocolate shop.
