Membership will be given early access online, the link will be made available and will allow members to book. No limits or restrictions on ticket sales for members.
General public sales will be first come first served available through OUR WEBSITE ONLY at promptly 9am on Friday August 1st. NO phone or email reservation request will be made on the day of launch***
The Northern Lights Limited is our evening train, departing Thomaston Station for Santa's Workshop. Leaving under the cover of nightfall, experience the magic as the lights inside and out of each car are lit, illuminating the entire train in a soft, cheerful glow.
Upon departure, you will be taken directly to the Santa's Workshop, picking up Santa and Mrs. Claus for all to see. Once on board the train, Santa and Mrs. Claus will take turns visiting with all those on board as the train slowly glides along through the night. While Santa is visiting each of all the good boys and girls on the train, his team will entertain you. Each child will get an extra special gift from Santa's toy bag.
This service is scheduled @ 5pm and 7:15pm
All passengers ride the Northern Lights Limited will experience:

Visit to Santa’s workshop to pick up Santa and Mrs. Claus
Visit by Santa with hand delivered gifts
Sing along to Christmas Carols
Letters to Santa Station

We ask that no outside food or drink be brought on board due to the historic nature of the cars.
Hot Chocolate and cookies are available for purchase from the Nutmeg Fudge Company at the station!
NOTE: Tickets are NOT mailed. Tickets are to be picked up at the “Will Call” counter inside the Historic Thomaston Station the day of the event. All trains leave on time, so please pick up tickets and be at the station at least 30 minutes prior to departure.

There are no restrooms for coach class. Our restrooms are located just south of the station.
This Event is NOT wheelchair accessible
These trains sell out, please buy your tickets early online at the link above.
Toddlers under 2 year ride for free, but MUST be seated on an Adult’s lap. Car seats are not allowed.
Pick up tickets at Thomaston Station’s WILL CALL window on the day of the event, tickets are printed with your name and car assignment. Tickets are NOT mailed.
ALL tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable except when trip protection is purchased

Please arrive at the Station 30 minutes before departure time. Trains depart @ scheduled time. No refunds will be given for missed trains.
No seat saving. Your entire party must board together in order to sit with one another. A car host will seat each party together.
Train is canceled ONLY if State of CT issues orders that roads are officially closed. We then offer refunds/rescheduling.
No Outside Alcohol is Permitted
