Experience the views and colors of autumn throughout the Litchfield Hills on our Pumpkin Patch Trains! These special excursions run along the beautiful Naugatuck River, crossing several bridges allowing for spectacular views of the river and surrounding scenery. Visitors will enjoy a dish of pumpkin ice cream from the Nutmeg Fudge Co.

The Pumpkin Patch Express will stop at the Naugatuck Railroad's very own pumpkin patch. Here, passengers are able to select their very own pumpkin to bring home. This ride is very popular, especially among younger kids and runs in the weeks leading up to Halloween. The ride lasts about an hour.
