Heavyweight coach built 1927 by National Steel Car (NSC). This century-old passenger car seats 50, has windows that open, and is equipped with its own furnace to provide heat in cold weather. A notable characteristic of the CN coaches is/are the six-wheel trucks for a smoother ride. Built for mainline service as 5089 and later used for commuter service as 4992 from the late 1960s to the early 1990s. Sold 1991 to private owner, donated to RMNE 1997. Used as coach 4992 until 2021, when it was rebuilt to a lounge car by RMNE and renumbered to 5089 in 2022. Lettered for Naugatuck Railroad.
